The coffee comes from the Ramirez Estate, a family-owned estate in the Dominican Republic. This coffee is an aged natural process, fermented in coffee cherries for 18 hours and dried on raised beds for 21 days.

The Ramirez Estate creates sustainable employment for farming families, paying above fair trade standards. The family is also socially conscious and uses fermented coffee cherries to create natural gas that partially powers their operation.
