Small-batch, single-origin chocolate made with just two ingredients--locally roasted cacao and cane sugar. Chocolate, like coffee, is roasted, creating interesting flavor notes. By simplifying the ingredients, the flavor of the cacao shines through just like a good cup of coffee. This debut bar is 70% cacao and 30% sugar, with nutty and earthy undertones and a floral finish.
The cacao is sourced from Hacienda Victoria, a carbon-free family farm on the Ecuadorian coast. The cacao is roasted, cracked, winnowed, malanged, tempered, barred, and packed right here in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our roastery uses 100% solar power from start to finish.
